Want to clean up your data and retire teams no longer being used? You can do so by deleting that team.
Important: Admins have the ability to delete any team. Limited users, by contrast, can only delete teams they own.
How to delete a team
- Log in to the PI software.
- Select “Design” from the top navigation bar.
- You will land on the Team Discovery homepage.
- Search for the team you’d like to delete.
- Click the “More actions” button next to the team details.

- Click “Delete team” from the available options.

- The team will be deleted.
Note: Once a team is deleted, it cannot be restored. Please make sure you no longer need access to the team or its data before you delete it.
FAQs
I don’t see an option to delete the team. Why?
Only admins and team owners can delete a team. To gain the ability to delete a particular team, request that an existing admin make you a Design admin.
Is it possible to restore a deleted team?
Once a team is deleted, it cannot be restored. Please make sure you no longer need access to the team or its data before you delete it.
