Create and share groups

In the Legacy PI software, users were able to create "groups" of people that they could then pull into various tools across the software. With this release, we're thrilled to be bringing the functionality of groups into PI2.
Once live, you will be able to create a group from the Group Analytics tool, denoted by the graph icon in the top-right corner.
From the Group Analytics homepage, click the new "Groups" tab.
Here, you will see a list of all groups you have access to. Click "Create new group" to create one from scratch.
Enter a group name, followed by the employees you'd like to add to this group.
Once you've created a group, you can search for it within the Group Analytics tool.
(Note: Currently, groups only supports employees. To add a candidate to Group Analytics, please add them manually.)
In addition to Group Analytics, you will also be able to leverage groups in Inspire.
Within Inspire, click the "Employees" tab. Here, you will be able to filter for any groups you have access to.
Use this functionality in combination with bulk actions to download or email reports, run a Group Analytics report, or grant Inspire software access in one quick motion.
We hope this addition makes it easier than ever to run Group Analytics reports and find the employee Inspire reports you need.
Note: By default, you will have access to any group you create. You will also have access to a group if a user with existing access shares that group with you, done by clicking the "..." button next to the group name, followed by "Share group."
