Org upload workflow enhancements

Product: Platform

Release type: Enhancement

Tentative release window: Late July 2026

We are updating the org upload process to make the process more intuitive.

Important: As part of this update, we are removing the ability to grant software access in bulk via org upload. We made this decision intentionally, to remove upfront complexity. Once you've performed an org upload, you can grant software access in bulk from the employee directory.

With this update, the "Upload Org File" button will be retired from the employee directory. Instead, admins will see a new page on the left-hand side, titled "Bulk Import Org Data."

On the new page, you will see simplified instructions detailing the org upload process, plus:

  • A primary button to "Upload CSV file"

  • A secondary button to "Download existing data"

  • A tertiary prompt to "Download template"

You will also see two new education panels. The first walks through what fields (required and optional) to include in your file, while the second details common errors and how to troubleshoot them.

Click "Upload CSV File," and you'll see a reworked org upload flow. The process consists of 2 steps: "Settings" and "Upload & map."

Settings

Here, you'll decide whether you'd like to archive employees not in the file.

You'll also have an opportunity to send the Behavioral Assessment to any employees listed in your file who have not already taken it.

Upload & map

This process is identical to the current-state flow. You will be prompted to upload your file and map the data to a preset list of fields. (This process is facilitated via OneSchema, a third-party tool.)

Post-upload, you will see an "Upload processing" message at the top of the screen.

Once complete, you will see a success, partial success, or fail message with information about the upload.
