Viewing suggested topics

Creating a 1:1 agenda in a workspace but need some inspiration on discussion topics? Our suggested topics feature presents you and your co-worker with a list of curated topics based on your unique PI Behavioral Assessment results. 

Use these topics to kickstart productive conversations based on each person’s behavioral drives and needs.

Who has access to suggested topics?

To access suggested topics, you must have the following:

  • An active Inspire subscription
  • An active Perform subscription
  • Software access to Perform

Additionally, both you and the other person in your 1:1 workspace must complete the PI Behavioral Assessment. (Suggested topics are curated based on your assessment results.)

Note: Software access to Inspire is not needed to access suggested topics.

How to access suggested topics

  1. Log in to PI Perform.
  2. Select a 1:1 workspace from the left-hand side.
  1. Expand the panel titled “Suggested topics” at the top of the workspace.
  1. (Optional) Select a topic filter from the dropdown menu.
  1. Review the suggested topics that populate.
  2. Click the plus icon to add a topic to your agenda.
  1. (Optional) Click the “Refresh” button to see additional options.
  1. Repeat steps 6 and 7 as needed.

Once you’ve added some topics, you can modify them and/or drag them under a specific topic in your agenda, just as you would any discussion topic.

FAQs

Can I see suggested topics in a group workspace?
No—because suggested topics are curated based on behavioral data, you’ll only see them in 1:1 workspaces. Learn more about behavioral insights in Perform.
I don’t see suggested topics. Why?
There are a few common reasons why you might not see suggested topics:

1. You’re currently in a group workspace. (Suggested topics only apply to 1:1 workspaces.)

2. You’re in a 1:1 workspace, but one (or both) of you hasn’t completed the PI Behavioral Assessment. (Suggested topics are curated based on your assessment results.)

3. Your organization isn’t subscribed to both PI Inspire and PI Perform. (Learn how to upgrade your PI subscription.)
How do I complete the PI Behavioral Assessment?
You can complete the assessment right from Perform. To do so:

1. Log in to PI Perform.

2. Select a 1:1 workspace from the left-hand side.

3. Click the “Take the Behavioral Assessment” link under your name at the top of the page.

4. A new webpage will open.

5. Enter your details, then follow the assessment instructions.

Once you’ve completed the assessment, hit refresh within Perform. You should see your results populate at the top of your 1:1 workspace.
Can I send my co-worker the PI Behavioral Assessment?
Yes. To do so:

1. Log in to PI Perform.

2. Select the relevant 1:1 workspace from the left-hand side.

3. Click the “Send Behavioral Assessment” link under your co-worker’s name at the top of the page.

4. They will be sent an invitation to take the assessment.

Once they’ve completed the assessment, revisit your 1:1 workspace in Perform. You should see their results populate on the right-hand side.
