Customizing software emails

This article applies to organization admins and third-party users.

Wish to modify emails sent from the PI software? You can customize the default messaging of these emails from the Organization Settings tab.

How to modify software emails

  1. Navigate to Organization Settings.
  2. Click Software Email Templates on the left-hand side.
  3. You will land on a page titled “Software Email Templates.”
  4. Click the dropdown and select the email template you’d like to modify.
  5. (Optional) Select your language.
  6. (Optional) Replace the subject line with new or updated copy.
  7. (Optional) Replace the existing email copy with a new or updated message.
  8. Click Save Changes.

What email templates can I customize?

You can currently customize your organization’s invitation email for the PI Behavioral Assessment.

Note: Changes you make only apply to Behavioral Assessment invites sent out from the Administration page. Any emails you send from PI Hire, Inspire, and Design are based on each product’s respective default settings.

FAQ

I don’t see an option to customize email templates. Why?
You must be an organization admin to customize email templates.
I edited the BA invite template, but the email didn’t change. Why?
Changes you make only apply to Behavioral Assessment invites sent out from the Administration page. Any emails you send from PI Hire, Inspire, and Design are based on each product’s respective default settings.
Why is English the only email template language available?
More languages will be added over time.
