Having trouble logging in to PI with your existing password? In this article, we’ll share how to initiate a password reset.
Note: A password reset can only be performed if you have PI credentials. If you haven’t created an account yet, or if you log in using social sign-on (SSO) credentials, the following steps won’t work.
How to reset your PI password
Open your preferred web browser.
Go to the PI login screen.
Click “Forgot password?” underneath the password box.
You will be prompted to initiate a password reset.
Enter the email address used for your PI account.
Click “Continue.”
A message will appear, prompting you to check your email inbox for password reset instructions.
(Optional) Click “Resend email” if you do not see the email in your inbox. (You will be brought back to the previous screen and asked to re-enter your PI email.)
Look for an email titled “Reset your Password for The Predictive Index.”
Click into this email, then hit “Change Your Password.”
A screen will open, prompting you to enter your new password.
Make sure your new password adheres to the outlined parameters:
At least 10 characters in length
Contain at least 3 of the following 4 types of characters:
Lower case letters (i.e., a-z)
Upper case letters (i.e., A-Z)
Numbers (i.e., 0-9)
Special characters (e.g., !@#$%&^&*)
No more than 2 identical characters in a row (e.g, “aaa” not allowed)
Once satisfied with your password, click the button to confirm.
You will receive a success message saying your password has been reset.
You will be redirected to the PI login screen, giving you the opportunity to log in with your updated login credentials.
