Downloading or printing a Team Discovery summary

This article applies to all Design users in the PI2 platform.

Once you've revealed your Team Type as part of the Team Discovery process, you'll have access to a plethora of insights to bring back to your team.

While you're free to share the team digitally with team members (provided they have access to the PI software), you may find it easier to share these results physically.

In this article, we'll explain how to download or print your Team Discovery summary for easy sharing.

What is the Team Discovery summary?

The Team Discovery summary is a PDF file containing a recap of your team's behavioral insights.

This summary consists of up to 6 pages (depending on whether you've revealed your Team Type and/or Strategy Type):

Page 1 includes your team name, plus a visualization of where each team member is plotted on your Team Map.
Page 2 includes a detailed readout of your Team Type, including team strengths and potential caution areas.
Page 3 includes a list of team recommendations based on your Team Type and potential caution areas.
Page 4 includes a detailed readout of your Strategy Type, including strengths and potential caution areas associated with this strategy.
Page 5 includes a recap of your currently selected team objectives. (These objectives are what ultimately inform your Strategy Type.)
Lastly, page 6 includes recommendations to help you improve your team's work style and build an effective culture. (These recommendations are based on both your Team Type and your active Strategy Type.)

Note: Pages 4-6 will only populate in your Team Discovery summary if you've selected team objectives (i.e., Step 4 in the Design process).

How to print/download the Team Discovery summary

Log in to the PI software.
Select Design from the top navigation bar.
Select the relevant team from the Team Discovery page.
You will land on your team's page.

To download your Team Discovery summary:

Click the download icon in the top-right corner.
The PDF summary will download via your browser.

To print your Team Discovery summary:

Click the "More actions" button in the top-right corner.
Select "Print summary" from the dropdown options.
A message will appear in the bottom-right corner, indicating that your file is being prepared to print.
Your browser's printing menu will open.
Select an available printer.
Click "Print" (or your browser's equivalent) to confirm.

FAQs

Is the Team Discovery summary available in non-English languages?

No. Currently, the Team Discovery summary is available in English only. However, we have plans to localize the PI software (and materials such as the Team Discovery) in the future. We'll have more details to share in the coming months.

I can't get the full Team Discovery summary to populate. Why?

Your Team Discovery summary is based on the data you've currently inputted for your team. To ensure you receive a holistic summary:

Verify that you've added team members (Step 1) to your team.
Make sure you've revealed your Team Type (Step 2).
Also make sure you've set strategic objectives (Step 4) for your team.

Note: Step 3, the Action Planner, does not currently tie into the Team Discovery summary. This step is not required to get full insights from the Team Discovery summary.
