Improved assessment notification settings
Product: Hire
Release type: Enhancement
Date released: April 7, 2026
After some terrific user feedback, we are happy to share that we have streamlined assessment settings in Hire to make it easier to notify the right stakeholders for the right jobs.
Previously, notifications in Hire behaved differently depending on whether the user was sending assessments directly from PI or via candidate assessment links. With this release, you will now see a new tab in each job titled Job Details.
Within Job Details, you'll also see a new page titled "Assessment settings."
The Assessment settings page is divided into 3 sections:
Assessment settings
Link settings
Notifications
Within "Assessment settings," you can enable Behavioral Report autosend. You can also delay the Cognitive Assessment (or send simultaneously with the Behavioral Assessment).
Within "Link settings," you'll have access to all the same settings from the "Edit link settings" peek panel. (Please note that as part of this update, the "Edit link settings" page has been removed entirely.)
Finally, within "Notifications," you'll see the notification settings that were once tied exclusively to candidate assessment links.
With this change, any modifications you make to notifications will apply to all assessments sent for this job (whether that's from the PI system or through a candidate assessment link).
We hope this release helps you send assessments and notify the right hiring stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
We're excited to release a number of improvements to the PI Assistant, which we hope will make your experience both easier and more intuitive.

[Closed Beta] PI Assistant: Clearer lookup options
Product: Platform
Release type: Enhancement
Date released: April 7, 2026
The PI Assistant already supported the ability to look up candidates, jobs, employees, teams, and surveys using the "@" symbol.
With this release, we've improved the experience by adding those lookup options to the "+" button within the prompt box. Click "+," and you'll now see the following new options (based on what PI products you have access to):
@ Mention someone
@ Mention a job
@ Mention a team
@ Mention a survey
Select an option, and the assistant will auto-format the text so you can proceed to look that person or item up.
Select the person or item, and a chip will appear. Proceed to type out your prompt to the PI Assistant.

[Closed Beta] PI Assistant: Context chips
Product: Platform
Release type: Enhancement
Date released: April 7, 2026
In addition to cleaner lookup options, the PI Assistant also supports context chips to make it easier to differentiate between people, jobs, surveys, and teams.
Example: If a user looks up "@marketing," they may see a mix of jobs, teams, and surveys related to marketing. Now, distinct icons will accompany each person or item.
These context chips also have practical use as you're navigating the PI software. With each page you view, the PI Assistant is constantly updating itself with the context of what you're looking at.
Example: If you're viewing an employee page in Inspire and open the assistant, it will ask how it can help you support the employee you're looking at.
Within the prompt box, you will now see a chip containing:
The name of the person, job, team, or survey you're looking at
An icon representing that person or object
At any time, you can click the "x" next to the context chip to wipe that context from the PI Assistant β perfect for instances when you're on a specific page but would like to start fresh.
Alternatively, if you started with a blank slate but want to bring in the context of the page you're currently viewing, you can do so by clicking the "+" button in the prompt box, followed by "Use what you're viewing as context."

As you're prompting the PI Assistant, you may see a new section at the end of its responses titled "Link to resources."
Here, you'll see a list of deep links that, when clicked, will bring you directly to that page in the PI software.
Similar to context chips, each deep link comes with an icon that lets you quickly understand where you're about to head with each link:
Person icon: Brings you to Hire (for candidates) or Inspire (for employees)
Briefcase icon: Brings you to the relevant job page in Hire
Multiple persons icon: Brings you to the relevant team page in Design
Clipboard & heart icon: Brings you to the relevant survey page in Diagnose
