Connecting Perform to Jira

This article applies to all users in the PI2 platform

PI2 is the latest version of the Predictive Index software.
If you are using a legacy version of PI, this article will
likely not match your experience.
Which product version do I have?

The Predictive Index’s integration with Jira allows you to create Jira tasks right from your Perform workspace.

How to connect Perform to Jira

  1. Log in to Perform.
  2. Click “Settings” on the left-hand side.
  3. Select “Integrations” from the options.
  1. You’ll land on the integrations page (linked here).
  1. Scroll down until you see the Jira integration.
  2. Click on the “Connect” button.
  1. A window will open prompting you to sign in to your Atlassian (Jira’s parent company) account.
  1. Log in to your Atlassian account.
  2. Review the list of permissions requested by the integration.
  1. Click the “Accept” button to confirm.
  1. You will automatically be brought back to the integrations page in Perform. If the connection is successful, you will see a green banner at the top of your screen.

Copying an item from Perform into Jira

In the 1:1 or group workspace where you’re discussing a project, you can copy agenda topics or action items directly into Jira.

To do so:

  1. Click “More options” (the three vertical dots) on the right-hand side of the task.
  1. Click “Copy to Jira” from the available options.
  1. Select the project into which you’d like to add the item.
  2. Select the issue type.
  3. Click “Create Jira Issue” to confirm.
  1. The item will be copied to the relevant Jira board as an issue.
