This article applies to cognitive admins in the PI2 platform who have recently upgraded from the Legacy PI platform.
In the Legacy PI platform, the PI Cognitive Assessment ("CA") could be sent to any person type, regardless of whether they were designated as "candidate," "employee," or "other."
In PI2, we have added guardrails to ensure that Cognitive Assessments are sent explicitly to candidates. This is an intentional design choice, as the Cognitive Assessment is validated for use in hiring, but not for use in post-hire decision-making.
That said, if you had access to Cognitive Scores for employees in the Legacy PI platform, you will still have access to that data in PI2.
Note: To access Cognitive Scores in PI2, you must be a cognitive admin.
How to access Cognitive Scores from Legacy in PI2
Log in to the PI2 software.
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner.
You will land on the employee directory in Administration.
Click the "Download CSV" button.
A pop-up will appear asking if you'd like to include cognitive data.
Click "Yes, include cognitive data in my report."
Click "Download report" to confirm.
A .CSV file will download via your browser.
Open the file.
If an employee has taken the PI Cognitive Assessment in the past, you'll find their Cognitive Score under the "CogScore" column. (If the employee took the CA multiple times, the Cog Score will display their highest set of results.)
Note: This is the recommended way to view employee Cognitive Scores from Legacy PI. If you'd like to assess employees using the CA moving forward, you should only do so within Hire as an internal candidate for a specific job.
