Mid September 2026 - Retake the Self-Concept (Inspire, Obi)

What it solves: Retake the Self-Concept without needing to retake the Self

We are adding the ability for employees to retake their Self-Concept (or readminister the Self-Concept for another employee).

Please note: The following screens and copy are not final and may change before release.

Navigate to Inspire, then search for an employee (either yourself or a co-worker). You will land on that employee's About page. From there, click "Self-Concept" on the left-hand side.

You'll see a new button at the top of the Self-Concept page, titled "Retake Self-Concept." (You must have permission in Inspire to "send assessments to co-workers," or else this button will not appear.)

A pop-up will appear with education on when to send a Self-Concept retake, and an explanation that only the employee's Self-Concept pattern will be updated, not their Self.

Click "Send retake" to confirm.

An email will be sent to the employee's inbox, inviting them to retake the Self-Concept.

Once the employee retakes the Self-Concept, navigate back to their page in Inspire.

You will see a dropdown menu, which will let you look through completed Self-Concepts, along with the date on which each was completed.

Important: Unlike multiple versions of the Self, which can be toggled between and set as "active" via Administration, the Self-Concept always defaults to the latest version when you navigate to the page.

As part of this release, Inspire admins will also be able to bulk-send Self-Concept retakes to employees.

From the Inspire homepage, click the "Employees" tab, then select the employees to whom you'd like to send a Self-Concept retake.

Click the "Actions" dropdown, then hit "Retake Self-Concept."

A pop-up will appear with education on when to send a Self-Concept retake, and an explanation that only the employees' Self-Concept pattern will be updated, not their Self.

Click "Send retake" to confirm.

The selected employees will receive an email inviting them to retake the Self-Concept.
