Sometimes when assessing a candidate, you discover they’re a better match for a different job.
Here’s how to move a candidate from one job to another:
How to move a candidate between jobs
- Log in to PI Hire.
- From the Hiring Center, click the Candidates tab.
- Search the name of the candidate or the job they’re currently associated with.
- Click the checkbox next to their name.
- (Optional) Repeat for any additional candidates.
- Click the Actions dropdown box next to the search bar.
- Select Move to different job from the options.
- Search for the new job and select it from the list that appears.
- Select Move.
- The candidate(s) will now be associated with the new job.

I’m not able to move a candidate to “X” job. Why?
To move a candidate from one job to another, you need edit access to both jobs in question.
