Have a candidate whose name or email has changed or needs to be adjusted? You can modify candidate details directly from the candidate's page in Hire.
How to edit candidate details
Log in to the PI software.
Select Hire from the top navigation bar.
You will land on the Hiring Center.
Select the Candidates tab.
Search for the candidate whose details you'd like to update. (Alternatively, you can search for the job they're currently associated with.)
Click on the candidate's name.
You will land on the candidate's page.
Click on the "More actions" button (
) next to the candidate's name.
Select "Edit candidate details" from the dropdown options.
A panel titled "Edit candidate details" will open.
(Optional) Modify the candidate's first and/or last name.
(Optional) Modify the candidate's email address.
Hit "Save Changes" to confirm.
The candidate's details will update accordingly.
Important: Changing the candidate's name or email will impact any future assessments you send them through the PI software. Be sure their information is correct when updating it.
Tip: Looking to change a candidate's email address because you just hired them? An easier way to do so is to mark that person as "hired."

Are there any domain restrictions when changing candidate emails?
Unlike the rest of the PI platform, which requires emails to match your allowed organization domains, emails in Hire can have any domain (e.g., freemail).
That said, when marking candidates as "hired," you will be prompted to change the person's email address to their new employee address. (This new email must match one of your allowed domains, unless you've enabled your domain override.)
