Job Ad Builder

Currently in Hire, users are able to refine an existing job ad using the Job Ad Optimizer (JAO). This tool lets you input copy and receive suggested language updates based on the job's active Behavioral Target. While the JAO has been an important part of the Hire experience, we also know there's room to improve.
With this release, we're excited to share that we're evolving the JAO as you know it and replacing it with a more powerful tool: the "Job Ad Builder."
What it is:
As the name implies, the Job Ad Builder extends the functionality of the current JAO by letting users not just optimize job ads, but build them from scratch using our internal AI model.
The Job Ad Builder runs on the same AI model that powers the PI Assistant. Despite sharing some DNA, however, it is a separate tool. Whereas the PI Assistant is currently in closed beta, the Job Ad Builder will be made available to all clients upon release.
How it works:
Once live, the Job Ad Builder will replace the existing Job Ad Optimizer in Hire. The location of this tool has not changed: Access it within an existing job by clicking "Job Details," then "Job ad builder" on the left-hand side.
Alternatively, you can trigger the Job Ad Builder by selecting the ellipsis button to the right of a job in Hiring Center, then "Draft job ad."
Either flow will bring you to the same experience. A pop-up will appear asking you how you'd like to start.
A pair of quick start prompts will allow you to either create a job ad from scratch or refine an existing job ad. Alternatively, you can enter a custom prompt based on your exact needs.
When creating a job ad from scratch, the Job Ad Builder will analyze your active Behavioral Target and create a job ad based on the data. It will then ask you to provide 3-5 core job duties, which it will use to further personalize the job ad.
As you work in the Job Ad Builder, any text the AI tool generates will appear on the right-hand side. Provide follow-up prompts to get the content closer to your specifications, then use our in-line editor to refine the copy further and style it to your liking.
When satisfied with a draft, save it to your job.
Back within the job, you'll see your new job ad appear on the "Job ad builder" page. You can make edits, copy the content, or download it at any time.
Clicking the "copy" button will save the job ad to your clipboard so you can paste it on your job site of choice. Alternatively, clicking "download" will save a PDF version of the job ad to your browser and/or file manager. Use this PDF to easily share the job ad internal or post it externally.
We hope this functionality allows for greater speed and precision when designing winning job descriptions.

Automated assessment reminders

Your assessment workflow is getting a little bit easier. In this upcoming release, organization admins will be able to enable automated assessment reminder emails for candidates and employees alike.
Note: As part of this release, we are also adding the ability to modify the default Cognitive Assessment duration. (Previously, the default was 14 days and was not customizable.)
To access this functionality:
Click "Organization Settings" in PI Administration.
Click "Assessment Settings" on the left-hand side.
You will see a new dropdown for "Cognitive Assessment Duration."
You will also see a brand-new section, titled "Automated Assessment Reminders."
Enable "Send automated reminders," and 2 additional options will appear:
"Send after X days" is the global default for all Behavioral and Cognitive Assessment reminders. Any assessment sent from the PI platform (whether from Hire, Inspire, or Administration) will follow these rules unless a job-specific default has been enabled.
Enable "Allow user to change the 'Send after' time at the job level" to allow Hire users to override the global default for assessment reminders. This is done from the "Job Details" tab in a specific job page, and only applies to assessments sent from that job.
How to override the default in Hire:
Click into a specific job.
Select the "Job Details" tab.
You will land on the "Assessment settings" page.
Click the "Send automated reminder" checkbox to enable reminder emails for this job.
If the global setting titled "Allow user to change the 'Send after' time at the job level" was enabled in PI Administration, the "Send after" setting will be modifiable at the job level in Hire.
Otherwise, that setting will be greyed out, with hover text explaining that the organization admin has set the default.
We hope these additions allow for smoother candidate and employee assessment experiences.
