Adding external candidates to a job

To access job fit insights and tools like the Interview Builder, your candidates must be associated with a job.

There are two ways to add external candidates to a job:

How to invite a new candidate to a job

  1. Log in to PI Hire.
  2. You will land on the Hiring Center.
  3. Create a job or select an existing job.
  4. Click the Candidates tab near the top of the screen.
  5. Click the “Send assessments” button.
  6. Select the relevant assessments, then hit “Next.”
  7. Enter the candidate’s details, then click “Send & add to job.”

How to attach an existing candidate to a job

  1. Log in to PI Hire.
  2. You will land on the Hiring Center.
  3. Select the Candidates tab near the top of the screen.
  4. You will see a list of candidates.
  5. Any “unattached” candidates will have a corresponding “Add to job” button next to their name.
  6. Click “Add to job” next to someone you’d like to add to a job.
  7. Search for the relevant job, then confirm with “Add to job.”

FAQs

Why can’t I see “X” candidate?
There are two common reasons you might not see a candidate in Hire:

– That person has not been sent the PI Behavioral Assessment. (This means they’re not currently in the PI system.)

– That candidate is currently unattached to a job. (They’re in the PI system, but you might not have access to see them.)

To view unattached candidates, request admin access from another admin at your organization.
