Accessing self-development guides

This article applies to all users.

Inspire’s self-development guides give you the tools to improve your natural work capabilities. 

What self-development guides are available?

Each person within Inspire has three unique self-development guides:

  1. Personal Development Guide: The Personal Development Guide helps you build self-awareness and improve how you interact with your co-workers.
  2. Management Skills Guide: The Management Skills Guide helps you grow as a leader and improve how you manage and motivate others.
  3. Self-Concept: The Self-Concept details how you perceive the external demands of your work environment.

How to view your self-development guides

  1. Log in to PI Inspire.
  2. From the Inspire homepage, find the left-hand box with your name.
  3. Click “View more.”
  4. Select the “Development” tab.
  5. Look for “Self-development guides” on the left-hand side.
  6. Select “Personal development,” “Management skills,” or “Self-Concept.”
  7. You’ll land on the respective guide.

FAQ

Can I view a co-worker’s self-development guide?
Yes. To view another person’s self-development guides:

1. Log in to PI Inspire.

2. Search for the co-worker whose Snapshot you’d like to download.

3. Select the “Development” tab.

4. Look for “Self-development guides” on the left-hand side.

5. Select “Personal development,” “Management skills,” or “Self-Concept.”

6. You’ll land on the respective guide.
I’m familiar with the Manager Development Chart. Where is that?
“Management Skills Guide” is the current name for the Manager Development Chart.
Where is the Management Strategy Guide?
Each person’s Management Strategy Guide is available as a downloadable coaching guide.
