What does the average pattern represent?
The average pattern represents the aggregated factor values of the people being analyzed. If one is high-dominance, and another is low-dominance, their average will meet somewhere in the middle. Use the average pattern to understand the collective “behavioral culture” of the group.
Can I use Group Analytics for hiring?
Can I use Group Analytics for hiring?
Group Analytics is not validated for use in hiring and can create bias if not used responsibly. Only include a Job Target when comparing employees in that exact role, and never make a hiring decision based on Group Analytics.
Instead, use PI Hire to create a Behavioral Target based on the behavioral requirements of the role.
When should I include a Job Target?

Can I include candidates in a Group Analytics report?

I included a job in my report. Why does the Job Target show up on the factor tabs, but not the "Factor combinations" tab?
I included a job in my report. Why does the Job Target show up on the factor tabs, but not the "Factor combinations" tab?
Job Targets are designed to help users visualize factor values, and don't have an equivalent visualization for factor combinations.
Moreover, in a hiring context, a candidate can have a high behavioral fit rating even if their factor combination does not exactly match the Job Target's factor combination. We intentionally do not show a visualization of a job's factor combinations as a guardrail to mitigate bias and prevent potential misuse.

Troubleshooting
Why can’t I view my report in “Individual view”?
Why can’t I view my report in “Individual view”?
Individual view isn’t available for reports that exceed 25 people.
To view individual data, click the “Run a new report” button in the top-right corner and include a shorter list of employees.
I don't see "X" employee when searching for them. Why?
If an employee doesn't show up in the search bar for Analytics, here's how to troubleshoot:
Double-check that you've sent the employee the PI Behavioral Assessment.
Verify that the person has completed the assessment. (If they have, you'll see their Reference Profile in the Employee Directory.)
Revisit Group Analytics and try searching for the employee again.

Why isn't "X" employee showing up when I search for them in Group Analytics?
If an employee isn't showing up in the search bar for Group Analytics, here are a few ways to troubleshoot:
If the employee's data exists in the PI software:
Make sure they’ve been sent the PI Behavioral Assessment.
Confirm they’ve completed the assessment.
If the employee was recently hired using PI Hire:
Make sure they've been marked as "hired." (This ensures the person's information is converted from a "candidate" to an "employee.")
If you recently upgraded to PI2 from the Legacy PI software:
Check your Transferred People page, and verify that all current employees have been moved to the employee directory. (This will ensure they're visible in the PI2 software.)

Only the 25 most recently modified (e.g., added, moved, assessed) candidate records in your system are searchable in Group Analytics.
We recommend verifying that the candidate exists in Hire. If they do, try moving them to a new job (and back), then trying to search for them again.

Do behavioral data permissions (BDP) impact who can access Group Analytics?
No. Group Analytics is only accessible to organization admins, product admins, and third-party users. These access levels have unrestricted access to behavioral data; therefore, BDP has no impact on the Group Analytics feature.
