Sometimes when assessing a candidate, you may discover they’re a better match for a different job. Here's how to move a candidate from one job to another:
How to move a candidate between jobs
Log in to PI Hire.
From the Hiring Center, click the Candidates tab.
Search the name of the candidate or the job they're currently associated with.
Click the checkbox next to their name.
(Optional) Repeat for any additional candidates.
Click the Actions dropdown box next to the search bar.
Select "Add/move to different job" from the available options.
Search for the new job and select it from the list that appears.
Click "Move to job."
The candidate(s) will now be associated with the new job.
Tip: You can also follow these steps for candidates who aren't attached to any job. By adding a candidate to a job, you'll be able to see full candidate insights (e.g., Job Fit), download resources such as the Interview Guide, and more.

The steps in this article also apply to candidates who aren't attached to any job. Simply move them to your desired job, and they will show as attached to that job.

To move a candidate from one job to another, you need edit access to both jobs in question. Make sure you have been granted edit access to these jobs via Hire's share function.
