Updated over a week ago

If you know a person’s Behavioral Score ID (BSID), you can create a candidate record in Hire and add them to a job in the same motion.

How to add a candidate via BSID

  1. Log in to the PI software.

  2. Select Hire from the top navigation bar.

  3. You’ll land on the Hiring Center.

  4. Select the relevant job.

  5. Click on the Candidates tab.

  6. Click the “Add Candidates” button.

  7. A page titled "Add candidates" will open.

  8. Select the tab titled "Add another way."

  9. Expand the panel titled “Enter a candidate’s Behavioral Score ID (BSID).”

  10. Enter the candidate’s name and email.

  11. Enter the person’s BSID.

  12. Enter the date the assessment was taken. (If you don’t know this, enter your best estimate.)

  13. Click “Add to job.”

A candidate record will be generated for this BSID, and the candidate will be added to the job.

FAQ

Can I add a BSID to an existing candidate record?

Currently, adding a BSID will always create a new candidate record.

However, we’re working on the ability to associate a BSID with an existing record. This functionality is tentatively planned for release in early 2025.

Where can I find "X" person's BSID within the software?

The answer depends on the person whose BSID you're looking for.

I want to find the BSID for a candidate who isn't already in PI. How?

If you don't see this person in your candidate list or employee directory, they likely weren't invited to take the Behavioral Assessment by your organization. (For example, they might have taken the assessment for a previous employer.)

If this is indeed the case, the candidate can find their BSID by following these instructions.
