Long-form Job Assessment
Product: Hire
Release type: Enhancement
Tentative release date: Early May 2026
When creating a collaborative target in PI2, the user and any stakeholders are sent an email asking them to provide input on the behavioral and cognitive requirements of the job. This process is known by users of the Legacy PI software as the Job Assessment ("JA").
Currently in PI2, the Job Assessment consists of 20 behavioral items and 16 cognitive items. However, in the Legacy PI experience, the JA was a longer experience, consisting of 90 behavioral items and 20 cognitive items.
With this release, we're re-introducing the "long-form" version of the JA from the Legacy PI experience. The process of creating a collaborative target remains nearly identical, only now the process of completing the JA will take stakeholders slightly longer. (Alternatively, when creating your own Behavioral or Cognitive target without group input, you'll also notice the longer format.)
Any targets you've created up until now are still scientifically valid. That said, we're making this change to allow for a broader range of inputs, and thus more precision in the possible Job Targets you create.

Numerical fit ratings
Product: Hire
Release type: Enhancement
Tentative release date: Early May 2026
Currently in PI2, when viewing a candidate's behavioral fit or cognitive fit data, the information is presented as follows:
Behavioral fit: Presented on a 10-point star scale (e.g., a 9 behavioral fit is represented as 4.5 stars)
Cognitive fit: Presented as either cautionary, moderate, or strong (e.g., a 9 cognitive fit would fall under "strong")
With this release, we're adding a "Numerical" option, which will present both behavioral fit and cognitive fit on their own 10-point scales (e.g., an 8 for behavioral and a 9 for cognitive).
Within PI Administration, organization admins will be able to toggle between the existing view ("Visual") and the new view ("Numerical"). Please note that there is no difference in fit calculations between the two views; it is simply a matter of which view you and your team prefer.
Upcoming experience (Admin)
How to access: "Gear" icon > Organization Settings > Hire Settings
Note: This setting applies to all Hire users at your organization. Please confirm with your hiring team before modifying it.
Important: The Numerical view does not apply to ATS integrations like Greenhouse or Paylocity. If you're using an ATS integration, behavioral and cognitive fit data will display in "Visual" view within your ATS, even if you have "Numerical" enabled on the PI side.

Filterable fit ratings
Product: Hire
Release type: Enhancement
Tentative release date: Early May 2026
In addition to adding a "Numerical" view to fit ratings, we're also adding the ability to filter candidates by "minimum behavioral fit" and "minimum cognitive fit." You can filter individually, or combine both filters based on the needs of your candidate evaluation process.
We hope this addition allows for greater flexibility when assessing candidates and helps promote a more holistic, objective hiring process.
Note: Filtering is available regardless of whether your organization decides to use the "Visual" or "Numerical" option for candidates fit ratings.

Enable Cog Admin for TPUs
Product: Hire
Release type: Enhancement
Tentative release date: Early May 2026
Currently in PI2, when you grant a third-party user ("TPU") access to your organization, they can see and do the vast majority of what an organization admin can, with a few notable exceptions:
TPUs cannot anonymize data
TPUs cannot send Cognitive Assessments, set Cognitive Targets, or view cognitive data
With this release, we're adding the ability for users to enable "Cognitive Admin" access. Doing so allows a TPU to view and manage cognitive data, just like a traditional cognitive admin would at your organization.
We hope this update helps make it easier to collaborate with TPUs, such as your PI consultant, and fosters productive conversations around cognitive data.
Note: This setting is separate from allowing TPUs access to your software instance. As with granting software access, cog admin access is toggled for TPUs on a per-user basis.
