Usage & Analytics dashboard

Product: Platform

Release type: New feature

Tentative release window: Late September 2026

Who it's for: Organization admins in PI2

What it solves: See usage data across Hire, Inspire, and Design

We're introducing a new usage dashboard to the PI2 platform. Use this dashboard to view analytics across various products, so you can get more value from PI — and show that value to other stakeholders.

How to access

Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of PI2. You will see a new dropdown menu. Select "Usage & analytics" from the available options.

You will land on the Usage & Analytics dashboard.

How it works

Note: The following screens depict an account with access to Hire, Inspire, and Design. If your organization only has access to 1 or 2 of those products, the cards and data you see will reflect only the products you have access to.

The usage dashboard is divided into 2 pages: Hiring Activity (for Hire) and Employee Activity (for Inspire and Design). Click into whichever page best meets your current needs.

Hiring Activity

The Hiring Activity page includes usage data and other analytics related to the pre-hire experience (i.e., any activity users are performing specifically in PI Hire related to candidates).

Up top, you'll see a quick AI summary of hiring activity within the current timeframe:

Immediately below, you'll see an option to change the current timeframe, plus 4 panels:

  • Jobs with activity: Shows the number of jobs for which a PI assessment was completed within the selected timeframe.

  • Behavioral Assessments completed: Shows the number of BAs completed by candidates within the selected timeframe. (Includes both BAs completed via email and BAs sent via job link.)

  • Cognitive Assessments completed: Shows the number of CAs completed by candidates within the selected timeframe.

  • Candidates marked as hired: Shows the number of candidates marked as hired within the selected timeframe.

Next, you'll see 2 large cards:

  • Assessment activity over time: Displays BA and CA completion numbers over time within the specified timeframe.

  • Assessment completions: Shows a breakdown of BAs and CAs sent vs. completed during this timeframe.

Please note: The "Sent" number only reflects BAs and CAs sent directly from Hire. We cannot track instances where users share the BA or CA via job link until the candidate actually completes the assessment.

Immediately beneath, you'll see 2 more large cards:

  • Top jobs by assessment activity: Shows top jobs by number of new candidates assessed during the timeframe. Also includes the average fit rating across all the assessed candidates during this period.

Finally, you'll see the following table:

  • Hire activity by user: Shows a breakdown of each user's jobs created, associated BA completions, associated CA completions, and Interview Guides "accessed" (meaning viewed, downloaded, or emailed) within the timeframe. Also shows each user's Hire access level, along with their last PI2 login date.

Employee Activity

The Hiring Activity page includes usage data and other analytics related to the post-hire experience — specifically, activity related to either Inspire or Design.

Please note: Diagnose analytics are not currently supported. For Perform analytics, please visit the dedicated Perform analytics dashboard.

Up top, as with the Hiring Activity page, you'll see a quick AI summary of your Inspire/Design activity within the current timeframe:

Immediately below, you'll see an option to change the current timeframe, plus 4 panels:

  • Total assessed employees: Shows the number of percentage of employees who have a completed Behavioral Assessment in the PI system. (The denomination is based on your PI subscription headcount, not the current number in your employee directory.)

  • Users logged in: Shows the number of employees who have logged in to PI2 at least once within the specified timeframe.

  • Reports accessed: Shows the total number of Inspire reports "accessed" (meaning viewed, downloaded, or emailed) by employees during the timeframe.

Next, you'll see 2 large cards:

  • Reports accessed: Shows a breakdown of all Inspire reports "accessed" (meaning viewed, downloaded, or emailed) by employees during the timeframe. Inspire reports include:

    • The Behavioral Report

    • The Relationship Guide

    • The PI Placard

    • The Personal Development Guide

    • The Management Skills Guide

    • The Self-Concept

    • The Management Strategy Guide

  • Top Reference Profiles in your organizations: Shows a breakdown of all Reference Profiles in your organization. (Reflects only employees who have been assessed. If an employee has taken multiple BAs, this card will reflect their "active" BA in the system.)

Immediately beneath, you'll see 2 more large cards:

  • Teams accessed: Shows the number of Teams in Designed that have been created, viewed, or modified within the timeframe.

  • Top Team Types in your organization: Shows a breakdown of all Team Types in your organization. (Reflects only teams that have revealed their Team Type.)

Finally, you'll see the following table:

  • Activity by employee: Shows a breakdown of each employee's reports accessed, Obi sessions, Teams accessed within the timeframe. Also shows which products the user has accessed in the timeframe, along with the number of active days and last login date.

Note: An Obi "session" is defined as a unique conversation with Obi. If a user asks Obi multiple questions within the same chat session, it's counted as a single session.
