Where are my assessment links?

The answer depends on how you used your assessment links in the Legacy software.

  • Any employee assessment links from Legacy have been sunsetted. In their place, you now have a single, organization-specific assessment link you can share internally to assess employees.

  • Any other assessment links (e.g., friends and family) from Legacy have been sunsetted. Moving forward, you will need to categorize assessment takers as either candidates or employees.

How do I run a Relationship Guide?

To run a Relationship Guide:

  1. Select Inspire from the top navigation bar.

  2. From the Inspire homepage, you'll see a Relationship Guide widget that allows you to generate a guide between any two employees who have completed the Behavioral Assessment.

Note: The Relationship Guide is a PI Inspire-only feature. If you have trouble accessing it, it either means:

Can I run a Relationship Guide between an employee and a candidate?

No. Inspire tools such as the Relationship Guide are not validated for hiring and thus cannot be used in conjunction with candidates in PI Hire.

That said, if you've already hired a candidate and wish to run a Relationship Guide between the new hire and someone else on their team (e.g., an onboarding buddy), you can do so.

To run a Relationship Guide between a new hire and a current employee:

  1. Make sure you've marked the candidate as "hired" in PI Hire.

  2. The new hire will appear in your employee directory, and their behavioral data will be accessible from Inspire.

  3. Run the Relationship Guide between the new hire and the current employee, just as you would for any two co-workers.

How do I change an employee into a candidate?

The answer depends on what you're looking to accomplish:

  • If you're considering an employee for an internal position, you can add them to a job as an internal candidate. Doing so will tag them as an "employee-candidate," meaning you'll see them both in Hire as a candidate and elsewhere (e.g., Inspire, Design) as an employee.

  • If a candidate is incorrectly showing as an employee in PI2, it's possible there was a data migration issue from the Legacy software. For help, please submit a ticket with our support team.

I'm looking for M Score. Where is it?

"M Score" from the Legacy software has been rebranded as "Number of items selected."

Where to find: Download an employee’s Behavioral Report in Inspire. You’ll find “Number of items selected” at the bottom of page 1 of the Behavioral Report.

Why the change: In the Legacy experience, we allowed people to select as many (or as few) adjectives as they wanted. As a best practice, however, our Science team recommended selecting at least six adjectives to ensure the BA had enough data to provide an accurate readout.

For leaders formally trained in PI, the M Score served as a useful tool for understanding when exactly individuals should consider retaking the assessment. For newer clients or those not formally trained, however, M Score was a confusing name that didn’t mean much. For Inspire in PI2, we have retained the M Score but changed its name to a much more intuitive descriptor: “Number of items selected.” We hope this change allows you to use M Score with greater clarity and confidence.

Note: While M Score has some intrinsic value in Inspire, it isn’t a validated measure for hiring decisions. As a result, we have sunsetted M Score from PI Hire.
